Berliner
Kollektiv “Panmediale” hat eine Laborsituation und Plattform
für Diskussionen, Experimente, Kollaborationen und kreative
Produktionen, die sich mit dem Begriff “New Media”
beschäftigen, geschaffen. Die im besten Sinne
interdisziplinäre Arbeitssituation hat uns die Arbeit zwischen
Kategorien wie: Künstler, Musiker, Performer, Programmierer,
Kurator, Theoretiker, Wissenschaftler und darüber hinaus
ermöglicht. Der intendierte offene Rahmen der entstand,
ermöglicht die schnelle und flexible Realisierung von
Ausstellungen und Events ebenso wie die Arbeit an
langfristigen Projekten. So haben wir in diesem Jahr 4
Ausstellungen, begleitet und/oder ergänzt von Diskussionen und
Videoscreenings durchgeführt. Diese Arbeit möchten wir mit der
“Panmediale Teil V, „Crash of Tests” fortführen und in der
Galerie einen offen partizipatorischen, interdisziplinären
Arbeitsraum für künstlerische Forschung installieren. Die
theoretische Auseinandersetzung untereinander hat dabei einen
ebenso hohen Stellenwert wie die daraus resultierenden
Kunstausstellungen.Das Projekt ist in 4 Phasen geteilt, jede
Phase mit einem anderen Forschungthema: Test of Space and
Time, Test of Light and Motion, Test of Sound and Machines und
abschließend den CRASH OF TESTS, in der wir alle Ergebnisse
experimentell miteinander verschränken. Jede Testphase wird
mit einer Eröffnung beendet, in der die Ergebnisse ausgestellt
und die Besucher eingeladen werden, an der weiteren Arbeit des
Labors teilzunehmen.</font></font></p>
<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm; line-height: 120%;"><font
color="#666666" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Panmediale is
a Berlin-based collective which has created an open-framework
laboratory-format for artistic dialogue and production, centered
around conflicting opinions on the term “new media”. Consisting
of 9 core members, but continually inviting new participants to
come and go at will, collaborating with the group over time, or
contributing single projects. Each of the members contributes as
artists, theorists, musicians, curators, scientists,
programmers, performers, being most times a combination of
several of these. Our upcoming project, called CRASH OF
TESTS will be taking place in Walden Kunstausstellungen
beginning in August, in which we will use the space as a site
for discussion and a series of thematic tests, 1: Test of Space
and Time, 2: Test of Light and Motion, 3: Test of Sound and
Machines, culminating with part 4: CRASH OF TESTS. During the
first three test phases, we will experiment with new projects
relating to the theme, with a public event to expose the outcome
of our work in that period. The final event will be an
experiment in excess, as we plan to run all of our experiments
simultaneously, to see what comes out when the works crash with
each other, i.e. two sound works clashing with each other,
perhaps blowing some fuses, etc. Next, we will be traveling to
conduct our series of tests in Westwerk, Hamburg, and then in
ping 12 documentation, Kassel. </font><font color="#666666"><br>
