erfordert
ein völlig kontrolliertes
Temperament, eine große,
verstehensbereite Toleranz für
menschliche Schwächen jeder
Art, seien sie intellektuell
oder moralisch, eine
unendliche Geduld angesichts
sich wiederholender
Enttäuschungen, einen
moralischen Mut, der nicht nur
das Risiko, sondern sogar die
Wahrscheinlichkeit des
Mißerfolges und dazu noch die
Gefahr, den Ruf eines
urteilsfähigen, ausgewogenen
und gesunden Menschen zu
verlieren, auf sich nimmt.
Also wird morgens eine Karte -
nur aus den Trümpfen -
gezogen, ohne die Liste
anzuschauen.<br>
Simulierte Gefahrenzustände,
das heißt jedes absichtliche
Abweichen vom Normalbetrieb,
dürfen nur dann herbeigeführt
werden, wenn sich außer den
erforderlichen Mitgliedern
oder Angehörigen keine Gäste
im Raum befinden. Man kann für
Aktivitäten zum Zwecke der
Forschung, Ausnahmen von den
Vorschriften der Verortung
zulassen, wenn bei Einhaltung
der Zweck gefährdet ist, die
Ausnahmen von den Regeln
beschränkt bleiben, oder eine
Gefahr für die öffentliche
Sicherheit und Ordnung
ausgeschlossen ist. Das ist
die unüberbrückbare Kluft
zwischen Regel und Anwendung
oder Grenzfall und
Spezialfall. Da Kausalität
keine zielführende, sondern
eine statistische Wahrheit
ist, muß es Ausnahmen geben,
in denen Zeit und System als
paradoxe Größen erscheinen,
sonst würde die Wahrheit nicht
statistisch sein. Die
Ausnahmen können im Einzelfall
oder allgemein zugelassen, mit
Auflagen verbunden und
befristet werden.<br>
Die generelle Suche nach
Übereinstimmung ist nicht
axiomatisch. Weder sind neue
Töne, noch neue
Farbqualitäten, noch gar ein
ganz neuer Sinn bekannt
geworden. Die Formulierung
dieser relativen Resultate,
das heißt hier: der Nachweis,
daß es sich hierbei um keine
echten Antinomien handelt,
sondern um Schwierigkeiten,
die auf einer unvollständigen
Erklärung der einzelnen
Resultate beruhen, bereitet
uns auch heute noch sehr oft
große Mühe. Ein Raum sollte
schon ein wenig
selbstkonsistent sein.<br>

nur eintägige Präsentation einer
Ausstellung wäre nicht
rezensionswürdig, würde es sich
nicht um die informelle Arbeitsweise
einer Künstlergruppe namens
"Kartenrecht" handeln. ... In einer
Art zeitgenössischen Version der
Arte Povera arbeitet die Gruppe
kontextgebunden mit dem Material,
das sie in ihrem unmittelbaren
Arbeitsgebiet vorfindet. Ob
Spanplatte, Kabel, Verteilerdosen,
Luftpolsterfolie, Paketband, alte
Monitore, Textilien etc., kein
Stoff, kein Gegenstand wird
verschmäht und Teil der schnellen
Verarbeitung durch das Kollektiv.<br>
Die Gruppe installiert und
demontiert Kunstausstellungen und
verarbeitet überschüssiges Material
zu eigenen Arbeiten, die immer zu
einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt innerhalb
der offiziellen Ausstellung ...
präsentiert werden. ... Kartenrecht
zeigt nur kollektiv verantwortete
Arbeiten. Zwar sind diese
individuell gefertigt, durchlaufen
aber oftmals bis zur Eröffnung
weitere Veränderungen durch wiederum
andere Mitglieder des Kollektivs.
Schicht um Schicht kann auf diese
Weise ein Werk palimpsestartig
Veränderung erfahren, weshalb jede
individuelle Zuweisung schon aus
diesem Grund unmöglich ist. Die mit
dem Kunstbetrieb verbundene
Eitelkeit, die jede
Künstlerpersönlichkeit hoffen lässt,
ins Rampenlicht der Aufmerksamkeit
und damit der Käufergunst von
Kunstagenten, Sammlern und Publikum
zu gelangen, hat viele
Künstlergruppen zerstört. Dies war
ein Grund für Kartenrecht, sich der
Zuweisung individueller
Urheberschaft zu verweigern und alle
Arbeiten kollektiv zu verantworten,
was durchaus auch als Kommentar zum
bürgerlichen Kunstbetrieb
interpretiert werden kann.<br>
Neben der Werkproduktion entscheidet
die Gruppe allein, ohne kuratorische
Instanz von außen, über Installation
und Ästhetik der Präsentation. Hier
setzt Kartenrecht eine
kontrapunktische Note, bezieht alle
Winkel des Raums ein und gestaltet
ihn als Environment. Anarchisch,
verschachtelt und ohne Anflug von
elaborierten, glatten Oberflächen
und sauberem Display, so könnte das
ästhetische Prinzip bei Kartenrecht
beschrieben werden. Die einzelnen
Werke haben etwas Rohes,
Ungehobeltes, sind unangestrengte
und ironische Setzungen, die sowohl
Kunst als auch Betrieb und
Gesellschaft im Fokus haben können.
Spontaneität und Geschwindigkeit von
Produktion und Installation sind
grundlegende Elemente der
Kartenrecht-Ästhetik.<br>
...<span style="font-weight: normal">Neben
mehreren
anderen Videos findet sich unter
dem Titel "Kartenrecht 2013
Biennale Venedig" auf Youtube ein
Film, der einen Blick auf die
Arbeit des Künstlerkollektivs im
Zeitraffer erlaubt. Dort
experimentiert die Gruppe mit
allen Registern der Malerei und
produziert auf eine Wand aus
Spanplatten ein imposantes und
riesiges Gemälde, das anschließend
in Rakeltechnik ... verändert
wird, um es danach weiß zu
übermalen und letztlich komplett
mit Kreissägen zu demontieren. Ein
Akt valentinesker Sinnlosigkeit
von Kunstschaffung und
-zerstörung, die nur noch als
geraffter Film von 8:45 Minuten im
virtuellen Raum zu konsumieren
ist. Überhaupt ist Kartenrecht
immer wieder fasziniert von der
„Zerstörung“ eigener Werke ...
Schon die Übergabe einer
Einladungskarte wird von
Kartenrecht mitunter zu einem
performativen Akt und vor dem
Aushändigen an den Interessierten
